I am interested in changing my profession but was wondering, if i change my profession, and tehn wanted to change it back to what it was. will i have all the skills i had from my old profession back? or will i have to get them all again?

you keep all the skills you gained from the previous secondary profession which also includes your pet.

yes you keep them on your account but cant use them. example your a R/Mo and do the quest to change secondary to Mesmer. All your monk skills disappear in your skill log and are replaced by mesmer ones you go acquire through going back and doing quests you havent done already or buying them from a trainer. Then later on you run into a situation where you want to go back to monk secondary. When you go back the mesmer skills are replaced with the monk skills in your log
